eYES Newark empowers the Newark community to connect Newark’s youth and their families with needed services by providing easily accessible, up-to-date, and accurate information about available resources.

Access to information on youth services in the city of Newark is a challenge for service providers, parents and youth themselves. Although we know resources and directories exist in print and online, the information is often incomplete, out-dated, and difficult to find.

To address these issues, a collaborative effort has been established to develop a web-based resource directory called eYES Newark available to everyone who has access to the Internet.

What makes eYES Newark unique is: 

• Its appeal to all community members, including Newark’s young people, who are interested in programs and services for Newark youth and their families.
• Its availability to thousands of users via the Internet. Any agency, service provider, parent, grandparent, friend or adolescent can easily and quickly find a person to contact via phone or e-mail to gain more information about a specific program or service.
• Users can search the directory for an appropriate service based on gender, age, location, etc.
• Users can provide direct feedback to eYES Newark if the information they find is incorrect or not usable.

• Newark Youth Service Providers NOW have the opportunity to be more accessible and visible to their prospective clients, current clients and the greater Newark community!
