Black Infant Mortality Reduction (BIMR)
- Provides intensified outreach for the recruitment of 50 pregnant African-American women and adolescent girls and enrolls their children into comprehensive pediatric services. BIMR prevents infant mortality by following the pregnant women and adolescent girls through their prenatal care and making referrals, when needed, to other support services.

PLEASE (Peer Leaders Enhancing Adolescent Self-Esteem)
- Provides after-school activities to help 30 DYFS-referred adolescents improve their self-confidence, self-esteem, self-direction, self-motivation, self-control and establish trust in adults.

Project Second Chance
- GED program for Work-First and AFDC (Assistance for Dependent Children) school dropouts. Giving young mothers and fathers an opportunity to complete their high school education, it also teaches life skills to improve parenting ability, as well as job-related skills to increase their employability. Weekly one receives: 4 hours of GED instruction, 2 hours of life skills training, 2 hours of job-related skill educatio, and 2 hours of training in an intern/entry-level job position.
