Cops 'n Docs
- To educate youth regarding the medical and legal consequences of gang-related crimes and gun possession. For 1 class period in an assembly format, from personal experience, police officers and doctors share a sobering message with students-nobody walks away form being short or stabbed without painful medical treatment and recovery, often the perpetrating criminal as well as the victim. A follow-up Question & Answer session is conducted 2 days later with the students. Doctors show students slides of real victims and their injuries, leaving nothing to the imagination. In graphic detail, they explain the procedures used in treating these injuries and demonstrate how surgical instruments are used in an emergency room. As police officers are the first to respond to the scene when a crime occurs or someone is injured, they tell students about their real-life experiences responding to violence crime scenes.

Day Treatment Program
- Day Treatment is designed for adolescents and women leaving inpatient or residential care who require additional structure in order to continue their recovery, and for clients whose clinical condition does not require acute residential or inpatient care but who can benefit from an intensive partial program.
