Adolescent Substance Abuse / Early Intervention Group  - The early intervention or “Life Skills” group addresses issues that pre-teens and adolescents face in their daily living, including drug use, gangs, delinquent activities and other potentially dangerous stressors. The group meets weekly and has a family education component that assists the families in keeping their children/adolescents on the right life course. A clinician will schedule an intake evaluation with the child and guardian after receiving a referral form. A master’s level clinician and child psychiatrist conduct the intake evaluation and continue to manage the teen’s care for the duration of the program. We collaborate with family, school and community agencies to plan strategies and interventions which support the adolescents’ safe level of functioning in their home and community settings.

Anger Management Workshop  - Classroom-based workshop that will enable the student participants to identify and recognize signs of anger and learn effective strategies to deal with anger. Students will improve their decision-making skills and learn to manage their own anger.

Beyond Survival for Women  - 6 week program for women that have been a victim of a personal traumatic event. Topics include: discovering choices for well-being, creating healthier decisions in your relationship, coping skills and self-care, effective communication and anger management skills, designing safety at home for yourself.

Clinton Hill Weed and Seed Partnership  - Weed and Seed aims to prevent, control, and reduce violent crime, drug abuse, and gang activity in high-crime neighborhoods. The Clinton Hill Weed & Seed Partnership has identified and initiated a number of strategies to prevent/reduce criminal activity within its target area. The program works to initiate a comprehensive law enforcement and neighborhood revitalization strategy. This comprehensive and integrated multi-agency approach for controlling and preventing violent crime and drug abuse is accomplished by implementating and focusing a broad array of existing and new social, economic, and recreational programs in targeted disadvantaged neighborhoods.
